matstrooper:
i have a p plate disco v8 i want to put 265x75x16 anacondas which i already have will they fit on the freestyle rims and will they catch on the body

CNorman:
You will not get them on without a lift, and i would have thought a 2" lift at that.

They will fit freestyles and may catch on your bodywork on full articulation.

They will catch on your radius arms with alloys and possibly bad. I think you would have to really ajust your stops and you could end up with a massive turning circle.

matstrooper:
what are the best size mud tyres for a standard disco

I've always stuck with 'standard' size 235/70R16 on mine but I am sure I read somewhere (oh its in the guide - forum sticky) that 245/70R16 is the largest fit with no lift required and no arch trimming

My preference, as she has to be an all purpose, on and off road vehicle is to keep it standard but STAY OUT OF DEEP RUTS

I can recommend 245/75/16 Cooper STT's

they can occasionally catch on the body work but nothing major

Steve
