I find this quiet funny because it's not been my wife telling me it's time to get a family car but my mam & dad :roll: Well almost my wife's got a back problem & could'nt get out of the 3L supra I wanted so I got a 4x4 (Terrano) :lol:  :lol:  :lol: Well at least I'm not going to get done for speed ing any more :roll:  :roll:  :lol:  :lol:

Is the car your weak spot?  The one thing you wouldn't want to change even if you won the lottery (OK so maybe you'd buy a bowler as well)?

Women are very odd.  I am allowed to say this as I am one (physically and mentally if not emotionally).

Many of them will attack what is most dear to you (ie the car) and tell you to get rid of it, only to say you can keep it if you do such-and-such.

This is a ploy many friends have used to great effect with their blokes.  RRB is quite lucky in that I only tend to throw a wobbler a couple of times a year, and then it's generally not about the car(s), as I am just as bad.

Also remember, Men just don't get hints.  The vast majority of women still haven't worked this out.  If you want something, or want a bloke to do something, you have to tell them in plain English, preferably in words of one syllable or less.  Has she been dropping hints about something.

Tell her the car's not negotiable, and ask her what she wants in return.  You will be very surprised at the answer you get.

By the way, did you tell her you did not want to be a Daddy before you got married?  Women change as they get older, the ticking gets louder as the biological clock runs out.
