Absolutely nothing, Ada. Not your fault and definately no need to apologise.

As was said, your bangin' and a graunchin' is probably just the springs relocating, so it shouldn't be owt to worry about. But it does sound alarming when it happens, doesn't it!  :wink:

If in doubt then get someone to drive it slowly over rough ground and watch the springs relocate and listen for the noises.

Some relocation cones are quiter than others, i'm not talking about reverse/bottom cones here, just top mounted cones. The D44 cones i've seen/heard are very quiet compare to most others.
