(1/6) > >>

Oz:
Hay guys i just been a way for a weekend down Salisbury Plains.. and well to cut the story short... we had been out all day with out a prob.. we came out and got on the road and parked up for half chatting with the motor on.. We set off up a steep hill and half way up the revs just droped and hay what u no load of BLACK smoke come flying out the back....  so i now have a 300tdi that wont rev any more then 3000rpm when out of gear... and can only just move it self with loads of black smoke....

we checked the turbo and it all seems to be spining up ok.

Any ideas would be really helpfully

AbyssDJ:
check the intercooler hoses matey. turbo hoses might be worth looking at too

Oz:
What am i looking for splits etc? the AA man said its probley a blocked intercooler but he did not even look under the bonnet

ade666:
hi oz. also check the vac pipe that runs from the fuel pump thingy to the turbo. mine fell apart where my turbo guage is plumb in and that had pretty much the effect your talking about.

Oz:
A lot to ask but can u maybe send me a pic of this vac pipe as i dont really no much about heavy oil motors only had her 3weeks  :(
