Advice needed....
hrox:
hey all. got a problem and not sure what i can do about it.
i have the option of parking in front of a garage thats not used (again im not allowed to use the garage but am allowed to park in front of it) only issue with that is some chap who is clearing his garden out build bonfires up to four feet wide and three feet hight to burn the dead wood coming out of his garden instaed of going down the tip and therefore im unable to park there. My querey is this is a private road and the council say he not breaking the law buring the wood there but its really annoying most of us as it means we have no rear access and we have all spoken to this chap and he just tells us to clear off. now in the dry these fires get pritty big as you can imagine and almost to the point where i would call the firebrigade out + the smoke is untrue and if the winds blowing in our direction ........ worse still i have my old omega parked very close by still with 1/4 tank of petrol and obviously you can see where that going to go and as the engine is screwed it cannot be moved due to this big fire blocking the exit..
Is there anyone on here with any knowledge that would help as to stopping this guy from building these fires. its really getting annoying and i would like to remove the omega and start parking my landy there instead.
rant and winge over.
thanks in advance.

Ok, to start with it falls lightly in the remit "Anti social Behaviour" Especially if all you neighbours are suffering too, so I would talk to your local Police Beat team, it will get put through to the CBM (community beat manager) and the PCSO to have a word with him.
I would also speak environmental health and see what they have to say.
If it is a bit big you can call out the fire brigade, especially if your old car accidentally  catches fire  you never know he could get in trouble.
Failing that hose him down next time he is smoking you out!

Hope this helps
nuisance bonfires

If there's a permissive right of way to access the garage then he is blocking that right of way and you could take action (abate the obstruction) or get the council to do it and warn him about blocking a right of way.

Environmental health is deffo your best bet - ring them next time he has a fire and they HAVE to come and pay a visit
Especially if there is a lot of smoke or fumes
Don't ask me how I know
