Which gear box is it?

P Plate 3.9V8 manual Disco.

We have striped it down and the drive shaft has broken, is it worth fixing or should we fit a recon/second hand one?

Hi mate, i think it could be the R380 5 speed box. But i think you might want to confirm that!   :?:

Oooooops, that link is for America........, it could be an LT77 gearbox..... UK

The only way to tell is by the number on the box, or where reverse is, left and forward or right and back (left and forward is an LT77) :idea:  :!:
