57,000 miles

mint chassis / bulkhead. fantastic original bodywork.
Rocky Mountain door tops
10 months MOT with only a brake pipe required last time.

hard choice to sell as this is the best unrestored one i have found but i have Two tax exempt series II SWB one setup to play and one to restore so i would like this to go to someone who will use it.

i would set it's value around 2K but i would like some feedback on this.

Tricky one, depends upon your market, and what it owes you. Looks to be in good condition, good paint work, rest of it looks OK from the photos, only a couple of down points that would worry me, bubbling of the paint on the front of the bulkhead, and the rear spring hangers where the chassis meets the rear cross member needs some attention. The rear springs could do with replacing, but they're cheap anyway and not something that would put me off, just a haggling point.

Truck cabs seems to be quite in season, I like them, as do quite a few others and should be a plus point to selling. Rocky mountain door tops a definite plus point!! The inside is very tidy too, chassis looks solid from the pics. I'm thinking somewhere around £1500 realistically, if I were buying anyway, or maybe aiming at £1750. Have a look through a few other that may have photos to try and place it in the market, try autotrader online, ebay, some garages etc have piccies & ad descriptions that may help.

Sort out the rear spring hangers or you may lose a couple of hundred from the price, or put off most buyers completely.

Where are you at? There may be some that wish to come and view...

thanks

just to claer up the bulkhead is not as it appears in the pics it has minor surface rust on the hinges i just coat with oil as i dont want to start painting as you loose the unrestored look i so liked then.

and the chassis rear hangers are new as is the rear Xmember but it wants a new coat of waxoil, as i only put on a very thin coat so it didnt look like i was trying to hide things.

but the pics do look the way you mentioned i will try and take some more to show this.

This is the 5th series i have had and witout doubt te best unrestred i have come across and if is wasnt for the series 11's i would not sell.

I still have the old door tops and they just require new runners so she could be kept very std with a little work.

But i want to start on my S11 so she has to go to mke space and some funds.

If you don't mind the question, how much for, or if you do mind - who was closest?

What are your 2s like?
