Range Rover Blues:
Having got the 300TDi apart at the moment it occurs to me that the direct injection has the bowl in the piston, so getting all the water out is not that straightforeward.

done it last night  :D
just removed the glowplugs and disconnected the intercooler top hose and turned the engine over
lots of water come ,just kept going till it was all gone and got a healthy smell of diesel
replaced glowplugs and she started  :D
but when revving there was lots of water spraying out of the top of the intercooler so next job is to drain and clean the intercooler
im well happy it didnt do anymore damage

yes mate saturday greenlaning around liphook/ hindhead area if the lanes are open, what with the foot and mouth problem, the steps at devils punchbowl are in the 10 mile zone i think
