Firstly there should be a filter in the solenoid vlave where the pipework enters the engine bay.

Then I jhave seen filters on the elbow where the gas leaves the pressure reducer to go to the injectors, though it's often a small guaze one.  My Romano system has no filter here as the injectors are big enough to not need it, my sister's OMVL system had a fliter in the pipe, you can't miss it though it's the size of the EFi filter.

the guy I bought mine from also suggested running carb cleaner (or contact cleaner even) into the sytem once a year to clean the waxy residue from the injectors.

THANKS FOR TAKING THE TROUBLE TO ANSWER.
BUT I CANT FIND THE FILTER ANYWHERE THE PIPE WORK COMES STRAIGHT OUT OF THE VAPOURISERS TO THE INJECTORS AND FROM THERE UNDER THE BANANA LIKE COVERING OF THE ENGINE, I AM GOING TO TRY TO POST SOME PICTURES BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW TO DO THIS, HERE GOES

Well my LSE doesn't have any filter in the gas vapour pipes either, only in the liquid.  If the 'injectors' (really a solenoid valve) have a big enough hole in them they don't need a filter.

FOUND THE FILTERS THEY ARE IN THE VAPORIZER BODIES, THEY ARE PARTIALLY BLOCKED SO THEY ARE GETTING CLEANED, HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO A GARAGE NEAR NEWPORT HE TELLS ME THE VAPORIZERS ARE THICK WITH SLUDGE IT LOOKS LIKE THE SYSTEM HAS NEVER BEEN SERVICED. WHICH WOULD MAKE SENSE AS THE CAR WAS NOT LOOKED AFTER PREVIOUS TO ME GETTING IT, EG THE BRAKES WERE DODGY EVEN AFTER CHANGING THE PADS+DISCS ALL ROUND HAD A LOOK AT THE BRAKE FLUID AND IT RESEMBLED GUINESS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE OF THE STUPID PRAT WHO OWNED IT PREVIOUS TO ME.
ANYWAY I HAVE CHANGED THE MENTIONED STOPPING BITS ALSO BRAKE FLUID, ALL OILS +FILTERS ,KN ,WATER PUMP, PLUGS+LEADS,FRONT+CENTRE EXHAUST.PREVIOUS OWNER CHANGED BLOCK 50000 MILES AGO (BLOCK POROUS) NEW CLUTCH ,BATTERY. WHAT MORE CAN GO WRONG . DONT JUST DONT MENTION A THING JUST HOLDING MY BREATH.

WIFE HAS LOST HER EYE FOR THE CAR SO SAYS I CAN TAKE IT OFFROAD I HAVE AN OFFER OF 2 DIFF GUARDS FROM A DISCO 1 WILL THEY FIT DISCO 2.

AS AN ASIDE I PAID OUT FOR A FRONT EXHAUST£750 AS IT HAS 2 CATS FITTED (WHICH IS WHERE THE HOLES WERE) BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS SAW THE CATS OF REPLACE WITH STRAIGHT PIPE AND WELD THE LAMBDA SENSOR ON WOULD HAVE SAVED THAT MONEY AND IT WOULD HAVE GOT THRO MOT ON GAS PRE 1971 EMISSION.

I've binned my ctas simply because on LPG it will pass the emissions test anyway.

Got an extra 1mpg plus for it, oh and it sounds cool with a sports pipe on :D
