rescue mish
welshlaner:
I can understand why having spent many years launching boats, the waves even in shallow water are strong.
Not easy looking for a recovery point in the wet esp at sea, its dangerous too, seen a few knocked over by a boat hit by waves while trying to get ashore, those who go sailing and the like know bit like landing/take off in an aircraft.
by the way any kids down there when you went in, mine were around somewhere, though not mentioned it.
martha focker:
you can see why we used the back door above, and i didn't know the rules of that beach as it was my first time on there, but i have a boat and use it on blackrocksands, porthmadog, you probly see us pulling cars and boats out there, off the north bank 8)

don't worry about it the supid council puts silly notices in local papers and a small notice board and expects everyone to read it
Further to the east the council has banned dogs from the beach, but expects eveyone to know, the locals do cause we read in the local rag of poor tourists fined under ASBO laws for letting there dogs run free.
The supid thing there is no notices on the beach so you could walk from one area where its allowed to another and not know, the beach patrol waits and chases after you on quads.
I'am often at Blackrock sands its great use the series to tow a small boat out and last year with a group "buryed" it in the sand for a joke, don't go often now as just to busy.
As for Abergele once many years ago in the early 80's drove at very low tide along the beach to Prestatyn in a convoy with some others, can be done if you know the beach well, the misrable council won't even consider it now even for charity.
