Drilling out a barrel lock

Got a roof box and I've lost the keys  :(

I've drilled out the lock so that I can get to the pin at the end so I can now open and close it, only problem now is I don't know how to get the old lock out :oops:

I've ordered a new lock from the manufacturer.

Wait till the new one arrives. Having it to hand may help you wor out how the old one comes out.

you should be able to increase the size of the drill bit and the lot should fall out, or fall apart, just be careful not to damage the surround.
