Hi All, I Brought A Sports Exhaust System From RimmerBros Number LR1083, I Fitted The Exhaust Manifold On Which Went On O.k Then I Tried To Put On The Inlet Manifold Which Doesn't Fit On Now, It Doesn't Sit Flush To The Block And There Is A Gap About 1/2 Inch Underneath Where It Is Sitting On The Exhaust Manifold I Have Spoke To The Person I Brought It Off And He Got It On His X Reg 1981 Without Any Problem Using The Same Inlet/Carb As Me, Mine Is A 1976 P Reg 2.25 Any Ideas Why It Doesn't Fit Mine, Many Thanks.  Ben

philbert:
had problems with mine also.
found it easier to put the inlet manifold on first just held loosely by the central bolt.
Then fit the exhaust and work your way round the bolts tightening them in sequence it should eventually pull down square.

lightweight-love:
Hi guys if you dont mind me asking how much does the sports exhaust set up cost then? what it include, and notice any power increase?
Cheers Duncan

philbert:
it costs £350 complete and has a lifetime warranty.
didnt notice any power increase as it replaced my ACR manifold and system but then again it doesnt appear to have lost me any power either.

Bob Ajob:
Philbert why did you choose to go for the Rimmer sports system if you already had an ACR setup? - what's the difference between them?

Benben: I take it the 81 had a 2.25 also? You fitted it yet?
