Yep go for the professional range, not bad quality plus a life time guarantee on them too!

Northern tools have some good stuff at good prices but they also have some rubbish stuff, i,ve bought 3 ton trolley jacks and axle stands which were good value and a 1/2" drive battery 24v rattle gun which i use at work and it does get hard work as well and has been no trouble, also had a battery drill from them which has been very reliable

Cheer's guy's sound's like Halford's is the way to go.
What tool's do you reckon a newby should start with ?bout time i started getting some decent kit instead of using my old mix'n'match hand me down's!
