(1/3) > >>

kevinf:
hopefully going to get my new snorkle fitted this weekend, have not removed the intake trunking yet but the water drain point/s look different to the 200tdi ones, I am going to assume they still need sealing unless i hear different, but how ?

I've considered one, but don't forget wading depth is still restricted due to the ECU location

Unless you buy the relocation cables, or know a man/woman who can make appropriately lengthened ones up................

DaveDavies:
Been told the dump valve isn't too bad on a TD5 so I didn't bother sealing mine...

But as long as you put the duct tape over the drain hole under the ECU Richard then you don't have to worry toooooooooooo much   Having said that I haven't been much above quarter way up my door

I'll have a look at that Helen, there's always a roll of tape around.

I had to use it yesterday, as I was wondering why the carpet kept gettign wet under the 2nd row seat - there was a piece of (sodden)masking tape covering two 2" holes
