muddywatt,
Andy is corect - give it a good 30 minutes before removing the air bag.
TopTip for cuting the hole
The template is printed on a bit of paper.
Cut out the hole and then cut the whole thing down so that it is easy to place it flat on the side of the steering wheel where the hole needs to be made. i.e. about 1" around the sides and bottom - the top needs to be flush with the top of the steering wheel cowl. (It'll make sense when you have the template in front of you)
Stick the template on to the side of the steering wheel with a Pritt Stick, which allows you to position it accurately.
Use a pencil to draw around the hole in the template.
Use a small drill and drill holes around the template. (If the template falls off you still have the pencil line)
Then use a Stanley knife to cut between the holes one by one.
This should be big enough to fit the SET/RES switch, the rough looking edge can be smoothed off with the Stanley Knife if required but is covered by the switch anyway.
There are instructions here http://members.mud-club.com/library/?articleid=15
HOWEVER the instructions have one error - you need a T30 Torx Bit (not a T27) to remove the air bag with.

Thanks gents all i need is the kit to arrive and I can fit it.
But it looks like it wont arrive before my trip to GAINSBOROUGH all 8hrs drive of it

It onlt took me an hour to fit mine, 30 minutes of that having a cup of tea whilst the air bag did whatever it did before I disconnected it.
Fourby:
Any easy job... did mine in an evening after work.
A little bit daunting cutting into the steering wheel but well worth the effort when done. Follow all advice about the airbag though...
