is excessivley low mileage a problem?

Hi!
I have had/imported 5 of them and all have been bloody great. Just do the usuals - belt, P gasket etc and all will be well. You will need to do the PS pimp sooner or later and probably the trans and oil cooler hoses.
Ex Japans are normaly very nice indeed. Oh and as for teh radio, well chuck out the Jap spec one and as you lot have plenty of LRs there a usual spec 1 should be easy to find but we use a frequency shifter device on the antenna cable here to solve the problem.

--- Quote from: "Tony F" ---And if it still has the original LR radio, you will only be able to get Radio 2 as Japanese radio refequencies are much lower than ours and only overlap where Terry Wogan can be found.

Oh yeah. Forgot. Changed the radio. Now have one which connects to a 30gb Ipod.
Currently got 39 days of music stored!!!!

i was in teh same position as yourself. only mine is 150k miles with full Dealer sh up to 120k miles 4 new tyres and everything generally in good con only thing was it wont go in dif lock so i walked away not once but twice then after asking a few questions on teh web i found that if its never been in diflock then the linkages just need re greesing but i was still hesitant the day after i looked at it for the 2nd time (sunday) i phoned the chap at 8am forgetting what time it was and said i will have it. for the price i cannot moan at all but it does need a valet and few bits doing i.e service cam belt etc. Even if the diff lock is screwed i ant bothered as i only want it for a road car but im happy with it.
its a risk when the offer comes along but you personally have to way up at that price if this, this, and this needs doing how much will the total bill be and is it worth it?
