I've got a really daft question about HD +2" ProComp springs.

My old RRC V8 was fitted with HD +2" ProComps. I broke it earlier this year and kept the ProComps with the intention of fitting them on my 300TDi Disco. I've just had them powder coated in orange (can't think why) and now I can't remember which are the fronts and which are the backs.

One pair is taller than the others!!

Anybody got any ProComps? Anybody about to fit any ProComps?

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Range Rover Blues:
Generally the front are shorter then the back, but with HD ones it's not as obvious.

HOWEVER, if they came from a V8 and you fit them to a TDI then they might sag a bit too much.

I think mine are pro-comp so I can go outside once it's stopped raining and count the coild for you.

But I'd guess the back ones have thicker steel in them.

Hi RRB

Many thanks for the quick reply.

Just my luck to make life more complicated.

I'm hoping not. When I originally purchased them, I asked for HD as I had a bonnet mounted spare and a plated bonnet.

If you could, I'd really appreciate it - If the rain is anything like it is down here, that might be some time.

I think they are the same - probably because of HD - I'll check though.

Again, many thanks.

Just to make life even more awkward, but I'm sure I've heard that procomp springs where handed left and right on at least one axle.

if i remember correctly when i done dad 2" lift the front springs were smaller in diameter than the rears.
