Just got some Jate Rings and a quick question..

Yup they can. I had them fitted with my old plough style tow bar and now have them on with my dixon bate hitch. I prefer to use the jate rings for recovery and the tow ball for towing trailers. Why stress the tow ball that may have a trailer behind you a few days later?

Also JATE rings allow you to do a bridle arangement with the tow ropes.

You can just see the jate rings either side of the mounts.


the holes dont all line up as I removed the tow ball for another vehicle and went off roading without it on and then the mounts moved so the holes didnt line up. It came off 10mins after the photo was taken to fit my dixon bate hitch!
