landroverkeith:
looking awesome ;) wish i had the patience and skills to do the same

boss:
right, yesterday started out good but then disaster struck in the form of my welder packing up! this is not good as i still need to weld stuff (duh!) it was almost like it was mocking me because i just finished the 2ND slider, sprayed it, went to  weld the other on and nothing happend.
i think the gear that turns the little wheels pulling all the wire through has had its teeth stripped! again not good! unless someone around me is going to feel very charitable and let me use there welders i don't think next week is going to happen! bit of a [!Expletive Deleted!] i know but I'm not going to stop working! "it ain't over until the fat lady sings" (don't really know what that means, but looks like its in the right place).....piscs are posted from the camera phone because i left the camera there.
both sprayed in an anthracite grey hammed finish paint and look pretty damn cool if i say so my self.

stuvy:
nice fat thumb there he he^^

boss:
urghhhhh a long day.
got the panels on, no many rivvets on the left side but its only temporary.....and i don't care! fueltank is also in place, should be picking up some hose for it tomorrow also found out the gearbox was the problem with the welder......off tomorrow to get one.....£32.50+vat i believe. not bad seeing you get the motor and all the gubbins with it.
also getting annoyed with people taking bad photos of me! only putting these ones up to show how hot it was......if I'm wearing shorts its hot!

slider guide may be up later but if its not can people please stop asking about it, i have more important things to do at the moment
if your Lucky it will be up in 10 in the discovery forum and i will try to make it a sticky so it cant be lost among the other crap on here.

boss:
getting there. got the welder fixed, 1 slider is welded on, took a trip to halfords..... didn't hold out much hope on finding anthing usefull but i was wrong! nearly everything i need! painted the rollbar black, looks much better now you cant see the rust! the tank is all plumbed in too. there are 4 wires on the plug to the tank yet my Alli one has only 3 pickups on it...i assume one is for the fuelpump on the  V8 does anyone know which one???? got a trailer sorted too:dance:
just waiting for the latest slice of nice to arrive from Devon4x4 and the combat will begin!
