boss:
got it all "done" for the BLRC weekend, bit of a rush but it was deemed acceptable. got up at 6:45 to collect the trailer at 7:30 then rolled it on down to the disco and back to my house by 9:30.......dicked about with crap until 12 and got to bircham at one :?
wasn't there for too long and people started giving it the once over, no negative comments(which made me happy).
truck worked brilliantly , few times it didn't make it up hills but that was my fault, the difflock cam out and i didn't realise.......nearly rolled it a few times too  i will be welding in that rollbar properly (its only tacked in to protect the fueltank)
now i am full of ideas on what to do next.....been looking into shunt nosing(bob nose) it for a while but now i think i just may because it looks a little odd with the bonnet longer than the bed! extra inch on the springs, defender truck springs are a must now! i thought i could make do but it rattles allot and the ride is hideous!
possibly bigger tyres as well. just to let you all know......the air intake in the truck bed does work! the sound is not that annoying(the exhaust annoyed me more!)! and mud didn't touch it!
Devon winch tray should be here tomorrow  i will have a nice rear end now :azn:
there are loads of photos but you all know what im like and i cant be botherd to put them all up so heres a few, enjoy
let me know what you think :afro:

biggerlandy:

boss:
right, i will keep that in mind. i didn't put it on there the garage where i get it serviced did it.....they are very much a " land rover spent millions developing products so nothing needs to be changed" type place.
anyway. came home from college today and had a goodie waiting for me!
the winch tray!
its a bit nice and a bit well built....i am very tempted to put one in the front! if your into making your own stuff i would seriously recomend these as a base for your bumper!
will be cracking out the metal mastic tomorrow
