Went to Hereford today to have a play in the floods, my dad knows the area as he lives there so off we went in MY disco. Had a few small fords and flooded roads which were coo, took some vid's which I can't post but I'll add them to face book later on and post a link. Went through this one flooded road and do you know the golden rule of wading "check it first with a stick or something for the depth" well we didn't, the water was very hign, the engine stuggling to get through the water, I stop but rev the engine to reverse out and my dad goes "we'renearly there now" so we carried on, got through but it put the willys up me.
On a different note, it drove past us too quickly to get a pic but the FORD ESCORT drove past us with a hole cut into the bonnet and the air filter has been mounted upwards so that it acted like a snorkel, slap bang in the centre of the bonnet  - can they join us :!: :!: :!: :!:

Imagine waking up in that caravn?
Had all the other been washed away overnight? I'd be having kittens especially as the water hasn't finished rising yet.
