I just replaced one of my 17mm headed bolts with an external torx one, admittedly if you had the correct socket you could undo it easily but not many people would think of carrying one around when nicking a winch.

the onlt prblem with these is you can fit a 12 sided socket on these and they work like a normal Bolt

paddocks do a winch bolt set the bolts are dome shape with counter sunk holes very much like alloy wheel nut lockers only smaller for winches :wink:
