Disco Front Propshaft

<< < (3/3)

KingWolf:
Well I now know for sure I can drive with only one prop shaft fitted...!!!

I had just about got the front prop removed on Tuesday morning when a very nice Tesco driver rang my mobile telling me that my wife had just parked her car in the back of a stationary lorry at 40mph in Bedford...!!!

So as you great people said I just stuck it in diff lock and drove the 50 miles to Bedford hospital, she was clonking a bit but that was the least of my worries...!!!

Anyway the wife is back home now nursing a broken ancle and some horrible seat belt bruises and the Disco is all fixed.

Happy ending all round, except she wrote her company car off...lol

Mark.

Guardian.:

For a second or two, i thought that it was your wife that was clonking a bit

Hope she is better soon.

KingWolf:
Well she's clonking a bit now she has a cast on her leg...lol

Mark.

muddyjames:
I took my disco to work and back on the rear prop which is about 20miles to see if my clonking went away and it did.

Just dont boot it hard and it should be fine.
