Overall Height ?
« on: July 13, 2007, 21:14:04 »
Is there anybody out there who could tell me the height from floor to roof on a wrangler that has had a 2-3 inch type lift running on say 30" or so inch tyres? Have found a wrangler I am intrested in getting but am concerned it will not fit in me garage.

2" lift might get a height of 69" or @ 176cm..its a Jeep so don't expect all measurements to be quite the same...HTH

You could let some air out of your tyres if you think it will be a bit tight

Thanks for your reply Bishops, but you have confused me, |I went back and measured said jeep and it was exactly 173 cm's high to centre of roof (heighest point), as I don't know any one down here with a lifted wrangler, surely someone has a tape measure who can run out to their car and take a dim for me!
Much appreciated in advance.

I'd glady measure mine, but it's about 30 miles away being unbent at the moment.

I seem to remember someone asking this question on one of the forums a while back, when I had a 2" lift and was still running 30" tyres. IIRC I measured mine and it was around 6' or 6'1"- something like that.  Looking at this from another angle, how tall is the garage door?
It's life Jim, but not as we know it!

Now we're getting somewhere,  so between 1.81 and 1.86M that'll do cause I got exactly 1.93 garage door height. Incedently what do you mean by a '2" budget' boost. Going over old ground again I'me sure but did I read somewhere else in this forum that 30/31" tyres will fit without body or susp lift?
cheers now
Trev.

31's will fit without a lift but mine also has a BB with pucks on the top of the springs and longer shocks...
