Hi

Don't let anyone take the p**s [-X  the lada Niva (vas 2121) will show up most standard landys because they are cheap and you won't be scared to dent it so you will drive it harder
Mine was rough old and rusty but I miss it I bought a disco because I have a family and the niva was a bit small but I am thinking of getting another as it was just soooooow much fun £400 is good if it is fresh watch first gear as it goes real easy, listen to what Ian Bird at Lada uk tells you and you will be ok . Ps you can swap the wheels for suzuki ones the pcd is only about 1/2 mil out ( there was a set of mach 5's on ebay last week with bf muds £90 gutted #-o  ) there are loads of net sites outhere for the niva and don't be afraid of some of the foreign sites as once your in they have english stuff . There are also places you can download manuals and hints about mods you can do.

Enjoy the car you will miss it when it's gone.
