misfire
peasey:
no not at all just starts missing when in gear i have just changed the coil, leads, plugs and dizzy cap and all seems sweet (on the drive anway) and just to let you know its a 3.9 injection.my only worry is that what i have changed is exactly the same nothing is or looks worn dodgyor busted in any way oh well
Oz:
Land rovers ....lol
Evilgoat:
Had this on my old volvo. New rotor and things went downhill fast a week later. Put the old rotor on and all back to normal. Back to helfrauds and changed for a bosch part and no problems.
Range Rover Blues:
I had this too, dizzy cap from Halfrauds. Only showed up under load becasue they fuel mix is harder to ignite when there's more of it ie throttle open.
Check plugs are clean etc etc.
I found that of the 8 tips inside the dizzy cap only 6 of them were discoloured after I had used the cap for a couple of days, ie 2 of them were not sparking.
