T-max winches

(1/6) > >>

pas:
I suppose I should have asked before I bought, but too late now, has anyone heard anything good or bad about T-max winches , mine should arrive tomorrow (£370 from martin motors)

Paul:
I'll be watching this one with interest,

I can get the EW11000 for £440 and the EW-9500 for £395.

I can get the T-Max EW11000 with Winch bumper for £595 inc vat.

I thought I'd found a cheap supplier. :-k

Range Rover Blues:
Don't panic, they're getting cheaper because more of us are buying them, plus they are ripping of US designs so don't need to invest in R&D, plus they use modern manufacturing techniques like laser cutting the gears so there is much less machining than before.
And they're probably made in China for a pittance.
Don't overuse it and you should be fine (avoid smug though) and remember it will probably winch as fast with a double line pull but last lots longer!

pas:
martin motors are doing the 11000lb for £315 plus vat (minus 3% or internet ordering) (the 9500 is costing about £15 in P&P) but I noticed that the motors are the same HP on the 9500 and 11000 just a lower ratio on the box on the 11000 (so I guess slower, which is why I went for the 9500 since everybody else with disco's seem to find a 9500llb winch to be enough :P , although they prob don't get as stuck as me  )
