We've got a load of Hornby train gear in the loft (via both sets of parents) but nowhere to set it up...

You can always find somewhere for it. My room currently sports a 24ft end to end Marklin layout around two walls at picture rail height!

V8MoneyPit:
These days all I seem to do is eat, sleep and work
Been through plenty of hobbies in my time though.
As a child, I always enjoyed drawing. Had many pictures on the Blue Peter notice board! And I've still got the badges and signed photo's to prove it   Those were the days of John Noakes, Petra and Shep.... ah, memories!
Model aircraft (static, powered R/C and glider R/C), crashed too many to mention
Model railways (sold it all when I got into cars).
Cycling (still get out occasionally)
Motor racing (still have my MG Midget race car, but not in use now)
Photography (but even that is done at work now since I started product photography )
Oh, and designed and draughted a house once, right down to the quantity surveying, but never got to build it!
kizz81:
the land rover takes up most of my time/money at the moment as im trying to do some cool electrical stuff to it which will probly not work
i used to make model boats and sail them
then i moved onto a model rocket where it claimed you could put an egg in it and it wouldnt break, i never had any success,
then i tryed my hand at rc cars but they proved more unreliable than the landy
now im looking at getting back into mountain biking, and taking up canoeing, i have a canoe but no paddle yet
hopefully going to take up rock climbing next year at uni
for now exam revision :'(
Thrasher:
Speaking of model railways ... we've got one at work, it goes round the office. There is a time-table and each train hauls different cargo, there's the savoury express, the sweet express etc etc. I think we must be mad....
