Now I've got rid of the 101, I've realised I need a hobby to keep me occupied and off the streets when I'm not hard at work.

I currently paramotor but it's weather-dependent.

We've got a load of Hornby train gear in the loft (via both sets of parents) but nowhere to set it up...

Photography is interesting at times but I only really get into it when I'm travelling.

What does everybody else here do, apart from getting muddy and wielding spanners?

I sometimes walk up a mountain or 2, explore old mines, gold panning in the local rivers, photography, and this year I have taken up fly fishing.

Apart from the Land-Rovers, and the GLAss rep for the Island, I do a bit of "taste testing" for a number of cider makers, and a similar task for a couple of chocolate companies - this I do totally on a volountry basis......

I also collect, restore and occasionally race 'Scalextric' and other slot-cars (Got around 700 tucked away)

I also collect 1/50 scale plant and machinery models - diggers, 'dozers etc, and I'm slowly learning to fly an electric (as opposed to i/c motor) radio controlled helicopter.

Plus a bit of walking, cycling and photography

Plus giving SWMBO a good listening to - this takes up a fair ammount of time.....!!

Regards,  Chris
My other car's are more fun 'cos their Scalextric!
