Harness Question
Eeyore:
Try looking for a single seater harness - the top straps are generally shorter for just the purpose you're looking at.
Word from an MOT Inspector (who tests testers) is that a harness is fully MOT / SVA accpetable. Some testers beleive otherwise, but this is incorrect.

--- Quote from: "smo" ---Cheers Henry, i'll try and contact the SVA centre for clarification and also hunt down a suitable harness, having frouble finding one with short rear straps that go round the roll cage bars as they are only 2" behind the seats!

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting ones like this they are very common in rally cars these days.. Try Prima Motorsport manufactured in the UK unlike most and available to clip in or wrap over as they call it.

If it's FIA I would'nt think you would have any probs. I made a set of 3 point harnesses for my old Escort 3 years ago & they always past the MOT & all the road side checks I had by the police & I had alot of them
