Disco handgrake adjustment

Funny that about handbrakes, today I adjusted the one up on a lightweight I'm prepping for mot, it worked anyway, but I felt it could be better, been sitting in a field for towo years before I got it

Anyway took it up one notch centred the shoes and tried it out. locked up the back wheels straight away, should pass mot at that :wink:  :lol:

I hope yours is as simple as that, good luck

My handbrake will only come up one notch so does it need serious parts replacing or just adjusting,cheers Andy.

you may find the mechanism is working ok or that its partially seized ? does the brake work ok, i used to find mine on the V8 would mess about after offroading and need the mud cleaning out of it
