baby welders

is something like that worth buying? never tried welding but theres a few small bits and bobs that could do with a quick fix. will something along those lines do the trick?

yeah i think so... i never saw em, but was told about them. still, for 50-60ish quid, surely its ok to fix minor stuff?

Depends what you mean by minor.  If you mean LR Chassis, then no that is not minor when it comes to welding as that's some rather thick metal you're welding and the weld needs to be very strong.

somehow, i dont think i'll be welding the chassis for a while, rich ;) engine mounts have still got to be welded on, but thats all sorted allready 8)

i need to fix a few bits and bobs where brackets have rusted etc.
