BF Goodrich tyre question

my bfg ats must be up to about 50k and they are still looking very good - i put them on about a year before i moved to england, and have been here for 2 1/2 years, will not use anything else - they are a great tyre.

i have a 99 V8 and run the tyres at 40 front and rear

I run 30psi front and 34psi on the rear...  235/70/16

There seems to be a lot of you running different pressures with these tyres. Do you find the increase gives a better performance from the tyre? Also if running increased pressures have any of you noticed any increased or uneven wear?
