winch service
denviks:
i have just spoken to paul at winch solutions......wow what a service. he ran through a few checks with me so that i could tell if it was the motor or the solinoids......as they say in the trade.job jobbed. :D :D :D
well it turns out the motor is good......so a set of albrights on order :wink: :D
thanks all who have helped with this saga.....i will post up again when my albrights arrive :wink:

on the motor the three terminals make a triangle
two terminals close together - one on it's own
if you connect the single terminal on the motor (the one at the top of the triangle) to one of the pair
then put your + feed to the other one of the pair the motor should work if it's ok
<Edit>
PS the albright is cheaper than a motor :lol: :lol: :lol:

ps...wrong :wink: :lol:
ill tell you the right way if you wish :roll:
so have you braught 1 albright or 2 :? as you only need the one
what still miffs me is the fact that both in and out have died...when really only the in solenoids should be fried :?
just try it with the albright and see how it goes, but contactors or pretty bombproof....ok i have welded one together but it was 6months old and had seen some battle :roll: and water :shock:
