wizard:
200 every time
It may rattle and clank a bit more than a 300 but as said before they are bombproof.
Very little in the way of electronic gizmos to go wrong.

wizard

davidlandy:
Mr wizard  what electric gizmos does my 300 have that a 200 doesnt?

extreme90:
  again...do we have to

200 for me everytime as i just think there more up and go when you hit the loud pedal, the 300's take some time to pick up,
but once up and running there like a train
+ points for engine... bigger alt as std
   serpintine belt
   cambelt easy peasy

but even so, i still wouldnt have one
mike, when i was on conventional car batterys for the winches i was eating a alt belt every outing, but since i fitted yellow tops the belt eating has stopped due to the alt not having to work as hard

ok i still change the pas belt often, but only if running low pressures on the tyres, if stay to 22psi the belt is fine

its just a big can of worms but i still prefer the 200, power and response is there instantly were as the 300 picks up a few seconds later

just my opinion
dan

Eeyore:
300 for me.

It's a more tractible engine with a more progressive power delivery. It'll tune up further than a 200 too.

Not many folk race 200s.

Any delivery issues with the 300 I would put down to a lax fuel pump.

Cheers

extreme90:
everyone ive driven has been the same
