RRC Vogue SE Traction control and ABS lights

Smego:
I have a 1994 300TDi and just lately the ABS and TC lights have stayed on, usually just restarting the engine turned them off but now they come back on as soon as I move off (i.e. as the ABS checks the wheel rotation)
I have also started to notice the brakes are a bit more vague lately and as you stop the very last bit the ABS fires for a few yards until it actually stops. I know both systems are still actually working ( have tested).
SO, what is wrong?
I have booked it to have the brakes looked at by a local garage but they can't touch the ABS bit? any ideas folks I think maybe the brakes have just worn down??

I'd seriously ercomend getting one of the wheels off and checking your pads and discs... if they are ok... then it could be crap in the ABS sensor ring causin gthe light but it'll be something more significant if the pads and discs are ok but you need ABS to stop in normal conditions!

Let us know where you are based and we can point you at a LAnd Rover friendly specialist that can deal with your ABS.

This wouldnt be related to your recent wheel bearing trouble would it Gary?

Smego:
Looks like it might be, will update after Paul has looked at it tomorrow, seems I have a bearing oil leak..?

muddysteve:
if its the same one as he replaced it can only be down to him to put right
