If it's local & you say you are going to start it up now & again move it back & forth to free the brakes up

run the fuel low first; fuel, especally petrol goes off so it's better to have fresh stuff when you start using it again.

Emptying the washer bottle is not a bad thing either; I've had them grow bugs and turn to jelly before now.

Keep the battery on and start it once a week. get a solar charger about 12 squid from DIY stores leave hand brake off and lift it off it's tyres on axle stands.

Don't cover it with a cover traps moisture and paint underside with old engine oil.

My bike sits in shed for 7 months of the year and has done for last 8 years old pickup trucks been off road for 4 years now.

Leave it in gear other wise the fly wheel can stick and it's a [!Expletive Deleted!] to free off work brakes and clutch every week while running it up.

 Moth balling isn't good for them. unless you can seal the engine exhaust valves and inlet valves co's moisture will get in when the metal sweats over night in the damp air.

I had mine stored for 9 months at a time when on deployments over the years always did it this way after wrecking a car by leaving it standing for 9 months.
