I am trying to work out it's max weight and what weight it can tow. There seems to be alot of guessing gong on amoungst other mates.

It is a T280 engine rear wheel drive, double cab, long wheel base (not jumbo) normall transit van roof height (about 9ft ish I cant stand up inside but a shorter person can just)

I think that is all the info I can give. I have looked on the ford web site but am baffled as there seems to be 2 lots of info found by 2 people from there! It isnt easy to read

Anyone have a better guess or a third guess to equal one of the other guesses we have?

If it's it's kerb weight it should be stamped on the chassis plate  :) By the sound of it, it's a 3.5 tonner :? If thats the case subtract the kerb weight from 3.5T & thats what you can carry  :D My M8 is a builder & has a X BT van (3.5T) with his tools in it weighs 3T
I don't suffer insaity ! I enjoy it !!!

The T280 part is a clue, max weight is 2800kg according to that as i had a T3500 which was 3500kg max
the weights should be stamped on the chassis plate as mentioned
i would hazard a guess that your payload would be about 1100kgs with that van
