I,m having problems with my   AOL   connection on broadband, well not so much the connection as the software i think
If i click on the desktop icon it,s either very slow to load up or it wont load up and freezes :?  then if it does load up and i sign on it takes forever to connect though once connected it works as normal :?
But.. if i connect thru the seperate aol dialler on broadband and not using the aol program it connects no problem and then open the aol program via the desktop it works again as normal

any suggestions welcome as this is starting to annoy me

slowness...
hmm, is it your whole computer that slow because that would indicate virus/trojan or a full HDD.
otherwise i would throw AOL in the bin and start fresh with another company.

no the computer is not slow i,ve virus checked etc and nothing shows up its just the aol part thats playing up,cant say in the last 10 years or so i,ve had many probs with aol so i dont really want to bin them yet
i may try uninstalling it all and starting from fresh see if that cures it :?
