Fitting of Bullbars banned in UK from 25th May 2007

bloody stupid. quite honestly if i was going to be hit by a land rover and had two choices, i'd rather be hit by a bull bar which made the front of the vehicle as good as level, rather than have the steel box section bumper just bust my legs and slam my head into the bonnet instead.

although in all fairness, if i was about to be hit by a land rover, i most likely wouldnt give a flying toss whether it had a bullbar or not. the ~2 tons of metal would kind of sway my thoughts elsewhere
