We have a 'snorkal' to fit onto sally the camper but the idea is for it be more of a 'raised air intake'.

She has a RR 3.5efi fitted and the air intake is currently behind the engine and she gets lots of dust and crud in it as well as hot air from the engine.

Thoughts are that taking the air from higher up it will be cooler and cleaner (especialy with the pre cleaner we have to put on it)

I dunk my v8 and the only problem i have is with the lpg evaporater when its raining it dont like little puddles :roll:

Can't say as I have problems with actual water.....

Obviously not a V8 :lol:
But better than the stupid air intake via the wheel arch  :roll:

I have a snorkle on my disco but It is not there to allow me to drive through deep water, it is there to safeguard the engine and avoid destroying it by sucking up a load of water.
  It does look good too!
