Somehow I think the Army would dispute that when they used the 10FC in amphiibious trials.
The 'plimsoll line' was half-way up the windscreen, & that was in the sea, not a wading tank!!!

Yes, but it was also done during exercises & therefore accepted practice


Occasionally Craddocks sell waterproofed distributors & HT leads for the V8

Is this another diesel Landy owner showing his inferiority complex about his underpowered ickle engine ?   :lol:
I would like to know the % of diesel owners with snorkels that go wading with them - not as high as you would like to think

Right - that's my tuppence worth - off out to listen to my lovely V8 burbling - and no it doesn't have a snorkel
