I wish I'd realised this when insuring my daughter's car at 17 and curse the brokers who told me that as she was the main driver the policy would have to be based on her.

No, you were right.  The policy holder is the main driver.  If they can prove this isnt the case, nobody is insured I would imagine.  Thing is, how can they prove it.  At the end of the day though, misleading them is fraud.  You knows your risks and you takes your chances ;)

I am between landies at the mo but have been with flux the last few years, mods declared and no probs.  Only downside is they wanted double the premium to name my missus.  Shame, she just cant drive my landy!  lol
