INSURANCE
Ben:
That sounds good - I'm paying just over £400 with NFU on my W plate td5 station wagon, although I do have a few claims against me

BigMark:
I got the missus to insure the landy and put it in her name on the book it costs 200 with aa cover for a year 8) AA insurance
dreadnought110:
I'am insured with the NFU too they know all about my mods i.e 300tdi conversion etc..and pay about £300 fully comp, any driver over 25 protected no claims home breakdown cover buisness use and agreed value.. I have found cheaper in the past but they can't match everything that the nfu do and when i have had to claim they have been stunning!! 8) 8) (only once i had an arguement with a lampost!!)
drmike:
Without wishing to be a pain and still managing it - if you really are the main driver then but you father is declared as the main driver then I don't think you're covered at all. I thought - and I hope I'm wrong - that insurance is one contract where concealing anything nullifies the contract at a stroke.
Incidentally my local NFU office wouldn't talk to me once I mentioned the engine had been replaced, the axles had been replaced and I had 6 points in the past 5 years albeit all now expired. Put like that it doesn't sound surprising. I really wanted to go with them as I had my first LR with them and they were excellent in every way.

William:
Named drivers are covered by insurance or else the ability to have named drivers wouldnt exist..would it. Main driver is basically the person in which the landrover is insured under, the policy is in his name, named drivers that have been placed upon the insurance are fully covered under the policy
