He did it was the post that said you can pull upto 3.5tonnes unbraked I've taken issue with. someone on here could read that and believe it. They could seriously injure or kill themselves or someone else whilst trying to tow a massive trailer with no brakes.

I wasn't been snotty, and I never spit my dummy ever. as I pointed out previously posting a reply stating that a landrover is allowed to pull a 3.5 tonne unbraked trailer is not only factually incorrect, but if a newby read it and believed it they could end up been seriously injured or killed, as a result.

still its obvisously a very well restored series well done to owner whatever people say:)
i bet it was scarey driving that over them hills wasnt it?

Bigant, I'm sure that your Landy is very capable and has proved it by towing that over some big hills but why do you automatically have to have a go at Japanese cars and use the term "Jap Crap".
If Jap motors kept breaking down or falling apart then I could understand it but in 7 laning outings my little Vitara has never broken down or even missed a beat whilst most of my buddies in Landies have had at least one problem or another causing us to do roadside repairs.
Come on guys, if you prefer a make of motor then that's fine but don't slag off other peoples rides by using inaccurate descriptions.

and if they're daft enough to believe everything they read on internet forums without checking with someone official...i doubt 'i read it on an internet forum' would stand up in court...
