I have bfg AT's which I picked up off a mate for £80 I think it was and that was 5 of them on rims as well.

I havent been overly impressed tbh with the off road capabilities but then I havent been anywhere off roady much since I have had them. In clay you may as well fit slicks!!!

I noticed a fuel reduction from going from roads to all terains.

I would look on ebay and get proper bfg's instead of spending similar money on remoulds.

The way I buy my stuff is just keep an eye out on what is up for grabs on here and on ebay and buy bits as and when.  the only thing I bought new was my snorkel.

I had a rnagie once and took that off road on road tyres and got some places that bob tailed rangies with mut tyres couldnt.

My advise would be dont go and rush out to buy tyres but just keep an eye out for bargains.

BTW my grizzly claws cost me £130 on rangie alloys for 4 of them. Again from ebay.

hey all who have replied! sorry havent been on sooner been in spain see! :D  :D  :D

the dibate seems to be swinging towards the the new tyre instead of re-moulds and i think thats the way im going to go! :D  so thankyou for that! Now the question is which ones?

I've narrowed it down to discoverer stt at £425 or BFG mt at £495 both on steel wheels ready to bolt on.

Are these good deals or does any1 no any better deals?

all the best! :D
