Snooky:
Noticed from the TV4x4 scrutineer bit, that a fire exitinguisher is required.
What is the recommended one to use?
Although the thought of a diesel catching fire is quite funny, I need to make sure I don't come with the wrong kit, can anyone advise please

landy4x4xfar:
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
It is recommended that all competing vehicles carry a fire extinguisher, minimum 1.75 litre AFFF or equivalent extinguishant / weight as specified in the MSA yearbook, operable or accessible from the driver’s seat.

further details can be found at www.alrc.co.uk ok matey

Snooky:
Sorry, so does that mean it needs to be a Foam extinguisher or can I use dry powder or CO2, I was hoping for a list of those I can use as the other link tells me the same.

For a tv4x4 event or similar as its only "fun" any extringuisher will do :)

landy4x4xfar:
good point
if you intend to do trails i would go with the foam AFFF a 2kg is best about £20 to £25 quidish
then for fun or comp you cant go wrong     ok
