I managed to get it back on using a table knife and a pair of long nose pliers a tywrap and lots and lots of swearing

Range Rover Blues:
Damn big holesaw and cut an access into the bellhousing.  The refit the plug (the bit you find inside the holesaw) with silicone and a couple of screws when all is done.

Hole saw idea my be the answer i was lookin for brilliant, will try it today

Good idea (cutting a hole) thats thinking outside the box, (pun intended)

cut out as per photos and removed clutch arm , replaced with new job done!![/img]
