04 GV LWB - Any good off-road
« on: April 13, 2007, 19:22:02 »
Looking at a 2004 2.0 16v LWB, is it any good off-road in standard form and if not are there any suppliers of lift kits/snorkels etc for this car? I have always had land rovers in the past and accessories are plentiful but not sure about the Suzuki. Don't need massive ability but up to Discovery standard would be nice, i will fit AT tyres as a minimum.

We took a SWB laning and it was seriously lacking ground clearance.....  Grounded on stuff you wouldn't even notice in a Disco.....

Have a look at Dave Jones site...Bits4Vits he is building an awesome GV project(loads of pics) at the moment he also sells rakes of gear for vits.Drop him a mail he is very friendly and give lots of advice.

Whilst I welcome people to buy a Zook the GV is not as well supported parts and off road accessories wise. Also the disco was designed as an off roader (so its a bit unfair trying to compare them) a better comparison from the green oval would be a Freeloader....
