New Rock Sliders waiting to be fitted

I have just bought a nice pair of Rock/tree sliders from Guardian.

What is the best way of removing the existing trim(Silly little plug screws holding it on)

Small drill bit and drill the centre plug out.

Try pushing the centre pin in and then withdraw the plastic plug intact.

A doddle.

Guardian.:
they are plastic rivets, just punch out the center pin and the thing will then pull out.

We found a hammer and a dirty great screwdriver did the trick nicely. Came off in one piece with all those silly fixings still attached. Unless you're planning on using them again why bother messing around, just get in there and yank them off!!!
